People say that there is no scientific evidence to support the first 11 chapters of the Bible. I don’t agree. DNA evidence demonstrates that all people stem from one man and one woman originally, The Book of Genesis records their names: Adam and Eve. The book continues to list many other names in a genealogy down to a man name Noah. the Bible also gives multiple genealogies and names of real people through till the birth of Jesus Christ, born of the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary. Is anyone living today able to say, “I was there, I saw it with my own eyes?”
Only Jesus was there to witness it. How do we know this? Because He created them in the beginning (John 1:1-18; Colossians 1:16). The record of Jesus testimony in Matthew 19:4 states “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?” (in marriage). If evolution were true then the DNA of another living creature would indicate a common ancestry. Since there is no link to prove it, someone said that they came to earth from Mars!
The account of Noah building an ark because God warned a world wide flood was coming was laughed to scorn. But when it happened people did not laugh. Now many believe, as I, that the account in Genesis 6-9 is true because of the Holy Spirit convinced us. But who has not heard of reports over the years that the actual ark had been discovered? I believed it because Jesus himself spoke about it in the Gospel of Matthew, “For as in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving (birth) in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” Matt. 24:37-39.
But for those who are not so sure of these words, there are people in Eastern Turkey who know where the ark is and brought people to touch it and video it under the melting snow and ice on the side of Mount Ararat. He must come again as judge and separate people on his right and on the left. Then he will gather his chosen people up into eternal life “in the Kingdom prepared from before the foundation of the world”
(Mat. 24:31-34).
