“You cannot hold a good man down.” The best man who ever lived was made out to be the worst. But in the end he bore the brunt of every wicked plot. He fought the devil down to the last drop. Even saved a crooked thief before it was too late. He was a good man, the greatest who ever lived. Now He lives AGAIN. The Victory won— was won for all!
Celebrate the Son’s life and death. Jesus lives again. Hallelujah! Sing praise to the LORD!
Sonrise Praise begins at 6:30 am Easter Sunday. Easter breakfast at 7:30. Slides of Susanna Frusti working with Kids Alive International in the Dominican Republic will be shown.
Celebration Service starts at 9:30am. Easter egg hunt will take place during the service. The dance of the merrymakers returns. “Let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God” (Jeremiah 31:6 ESV).
We had a nice turnout for “Christ in the Passover” by Jews for Jesus missionaries Arielle and David Randle. The presentation covered all the mysterious clues hidden in the traditional Jewish Seder which come out so clearly in the passion narrative. Thank you Arielle and David for stopping at Faith and sharing this wonderful mystery unfolded in the Afikomen!
St Paul writes, “But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, the same veil remains un-lifted, because only through Christ is it taken away” (2 Cor. 3:14). Then he says in verse 16, “But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit….” O the joy and freedom we have in knowing Christ by His Spirit. The message of the Bible is revealed by The Holy Spirit in the all atoning blood of Jesus, holy Lamb of God.
Our response of thanks and praise for lifting this veil is Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus is God!
